Default Perhaps a bit silly but...

Its been mentioned a lot that characters should be able to be different races. Not for actual effect on stats etc but just to look cool. So much is already being added just for looks, may as well consider this.

Anyways, I was thinking maybe have a certain potion or something (Say its called a transmogrifier tonic? *Snicker*) that you can quaff and the next monster you kill you would turn into.

Now, of course, there's a whole lot of problems that would arise, e.g. speed bopdy size etc I'm mainly just throwing the idea out. Pretty much all these problems can be solved by having it only show your monster identity in town e.g. you can move through people in town so having a glint block the gate wouldn't be a problem. Or you could only transform into certain predtermined monsters like tengu, blood wallows that HENCHMEN ALREADY HAVE!

Edit:Town would also look very very cool and more fantasy typed.

It creates a severe balancing issue. Say you turn into a plant and enter GvG. Being a plant gives you no benefits except you look like a plant. The warrior on the other team (being the dastardly thorough PvEer he is), pulls out his +20% versus plant axe (so now he has +55% damage versus you) and does some weed whacking.

Then there is simply the annoying aspect in general of people not being standard forums. Visual information about what class someone is and the spells they are casting goes a long way.

oh yeah,like I said it would only be for in town, though. Everything holiday/coolness related is of course disabled in most areas. You can't pvp as a candy corn or even exit town as a candy corn guard.
